Hello! Welcome to my painting journey blog. Well, I think this is my time to show the biggest passion of my life that I have ever had to the world. It’s my artworks I have been dreaming of for years. I hope you are excited as much as I am. I am brave enough to declare my self as an artist.

I am a self-taught artist. I never attended any formal painting class in the past. What I I remember that when I was 13 years old, I had a very short painting course conducted by one late respective painter in my town. I admired his fascinating paintings and enjoyed joining his class.

It was until I realized that doing painting is my ultimate passion. Yes, it’s truly a gift, a special talent given by God for me in order to give something beautiful in the form of artworks to the world. Also, I remember my late father used to paint me roosters on paper sheet. Perhaps, my talent derives from him. But he didn’t paint a lot for he was merely an elementary school teacher.

In 2001, I spent my times by joining an artist community in Bali for one year. I made several art exhibitions together with other fellow artists. Being an artist in Bali has inspired me a lot. I have no hesitation at all that painting is an important part of my life journey that I have to run after.

Although I’m not a full time painter at the moment, I try to keep pursuing a great moment to get retired from my current job as a document management specialist in an industrial mining company. I just need to earn money for my family. Yes! I do believe that the time will come on me to be a full time artist that I have been longing for years. Now I only do paintings in my spare times.

I know that painting is a long life journey. I’ll do my best to actualize myself in art because I believe that life itself is artful. Anything we live in this world is merely an art. I have a personal quote that has come up from my mind…

‘Life is an art. It’s simply presenting our best masterpieces to God and to the world’

I’d love to paint in various mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolor paints while I am also exploring the painting techniques. But most of all I love doing realistic themes in painting like people, landscapes and so on. You may have a look at some paintings here. And I will always keep updating the collections. I hopeĀ  you enjoy my strokes. There were paintings, mostly oils on canvas, that were already sold out and commissioned but not well documented.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Hopefully, we can be friends and you are quite welcomed to contact me. Let’s share beautiful things in paintings!
